The MHS Bulldog Band Color Guard is an essential and exciting part of our marching band program. While they perform alongside the band on the field, the Color Guard also has many unique expenses that help bring each season’s show to life.
Each year, our team requires new costumes and uniforms designed specifically for that season’s performance. As our program continues to grow, we also need additional equipment, including new flags for incoming members. Flags are a major expense for the program, and every performer needs multiple pieces of equipment throughout the season.
In addition to flags, our talented rifle and saber line members require specialized equipment as well. Rifles and sabers are important performance elements that help create the visual impact our audiences love, but they also come with significant costs for purchase and upkeep.
Our dedication goes far beyond the regular school day. Along with daily rehearsals during band class, the Color Guard practices two additional days each week after school to perfect their performances and continue building a strong, competitive program.
